Zev was inspired by the idea of manipulating profile cut flat pieces of furniture and turning them into sustainable, beautiful and functional 3D forms. This profile cut arm chair echo’s the bent plywood designs of the 50’s but uses Bamboo Ply board construction and 2 different types of KERF relief cutting to create bends and folds in the piece. Made from a single strip of material, there are no joins or fasteners of any sort. Simply cut out from flat sheet and fold into the chair shape.
