Description
The Lotus Table was designed in response to the beauty and symbolism of the Lotus flower. This sculptural piece, of which, most of the 65 components are tapered or curved in 2 dimensions. This requires considerable joinery skill as all joins are individually fitted. The range of construction techniques used include curved and stack lamination, cutting and pressing veneers, complex curved joinery, and carving/shaping.
