Description of Product:
The ‘Amberley’ has a frame which wraps around the base of the mattress maintaining a close tight fit to ensure the user will not knock their shin or knee on the perimeter of the frame. The frame can be easily disassembled and reassembled when need be, a subtle locking structure ensures the bed is structurally rigid and can be repeatedly disassembled without any reduction to the rigidity of the bed, a common issue with many on the market. The mattress is recessed into the platform by 15mm to capture the beading that wraps around the mattress to stop it from sliding out of position. The shallow depth ensures the bed is easy to make and the rounded edges makes it even easier.
The frame of the bed is constructed out of White Beech, a hardwood sourced from Eastern Australia. The slats are made out of structural F27 Blackbutt to provide less flex and an extended life for the slats. The slats are recessed into the hardwood frame within tight tolerance to avoid any slapping or movement during the night. The bed head is framed in White Beech and padded with a medium density foam and covered in fine woven french linen with a button pattern.
